MOTORSPORT – TEAM Bahrain is ready to step up and ensure the success of the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2025.
This was highlighted by Bahrain Motor Federation (BMF) president and FIA vice-president for sport for Mena Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa, who directed the teams under the BMF umbrella to make all the necessary preparations at the highest levels for the mega sporting event, which is scheduled to take place from April 11 to 13 at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir.
Shaikh Abdulla affirmed that the BMF has been preparing for this year’s occasion for some time, and that it aims for it to be held in a way that reflects the kingdom’s high stature and excellent reputation in international motor racing.
Shaikh Abdulla expressed his pride in the motorsport achievements of Bahrain since the first F1 race in 2004, and noted that its accompanying events will once again be prominent and distinctive, attracting the attention of the whole world for the entire race weekend.
Shaikh Abdulla reiterated his confidence in Team Bahrain to achieve complete success in the upcoming grand prix, given the accumulated experience and capabilities in organising and managing the pinnacle of motorsport. Team Bahrain had also organised numerous major motorsport events in the past, both at BIC and abroad.
Shaikh Abdulla noted that the BMF and its teams are keen to confirm the kingdom’s leadership in the region and uphold its continued excellence in the sport.
The BMF chief further noted that the upcoming F1 weekend has become one of the most important pillars to the national economy, and that it has various other impacts on the kingdom.
