Riyadh: Saudi billionaire Walid Juffali passed away yesterday, (Thursday) at a hospital in Switzerland.
The sixty-year-old business tycoon, who chairs one of the biggest conglomerates, was undergoing treatment for cancer.
Arabic daily newspaper Okaz said that his body is expected to be repatriated to Saudi Arabia within a few days for burial.
He was chairman of the Juffali Group, a Jeddah-based conglomerate with interests in almost every sector of the Saudi economy, including construction, cars and refrigeration.
The late Walid Juffali is survived by only one sister, as his brothers Khalid and Tarak Juffali died a few years ago.
