The Dubai AI Week Hackathon kicked off at Area 2071 in Emirates Towers, bringing together innovators to develop artificial intelligence solutions for key sectors, including travel, finance, logistics, real estate, and community services.
Organised by the Dubai Future Foundation, the hackathon aims to promote innovation and accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies in the United Arab Emirates.
According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the event focuses on designing AI agents to solve practical challenges. Saher Sidhom, Founder of Hackmasters, said the hackathon brings together specialists to create tools that enhance the UAE’s global position in AI.
The competition includes five categories for smart tool development, supported by Alpha Time Group. From 350 applicants, 100 participants were selected following a competitive screening process. Ten teams will advance to the final round, with winners to be announced at the close of the event, as part of efforts to support Dubai’s knowledge-driven economy.
