A blacksmith sentenced to life in prison for murdering his son by slitting his throat with a knife has lodged an appeal at the Supreme Criminal Appeals Court.
The 63-year-old father had earlier admitted to killing his 34-year-old son Mohamed Rizwan, claiming that the victim was addicted to drugs and exhibited violent behaviours due to substance abuse .
