Riyadh: Eight people were wounded after an armed group reportedly stormed the King Khalid Hospital in Hail and started firing shots randomly.
One of the wounded person is reportedly in critical condition, reported local Arabic daily Al-Riyadh.
The security forces cordoned off the area following the shooting inside the hospital.
Sources said the incident occurred near the external parking area of the hospital.
Hail Province media spokesman and the health authorities are expected to issue a statement.
