Abu Dhabi: Fifteen people were injured in a fire in the Al Khalidiyah area.
According to reports, the fire is believed to have started on the mezzanine floor of Al Mansoori residential building on Daratul Miya Road.
The Minister of Interior said in a statement that fifteen people sustained minor to moderate injuries which included cases of smoke inhalation and were taken to hospital.
Ten vehicles parked nearby were also damaged.
The Ministry posted a photo on Twitter that described the incident as a gas cylinder explosion.
