Riyadh: The authorities in Saudi Arabia are planning to re-impose the ban on WhatsApp voice calls.
The ban was lifted on Saturday after almost a year.
The Communications and Information Technology Commission had imposed a ban on WhatsApp call service on March 15, 2015.
According to a report in Arabic daily Al-Watan, measures are under way to ban the service again.
WhatsApp Inc. did not clarify on the reasons for lifting the ban on its voice call.
