Abu Dhabi: A red-coloured Ferrari Enzo originally priced at roughly $1 million is still accumulating dust at Dubai Police’s impounded cars compound.
Arabic daily Emarat Al Youm reported that Ferrari Enzo trades at nearly $3 million as it is a limited edition vehicle made on demand, so rare that every time one crashes the others increase in value.
The luxurious car was seized over six years ago as it was wanted by Interpol. The car was reportedly left in a parking space after accruing too many parking tickets.
The red motor, originally owned by a British national, is one of the top 10 fastest ever road cars ever produced.
The supercar has an eye-watering 5998c aluminium V12 engine capable of 660bhp and a top speed of 217mph.
It can reach 0-60mph in just 3.4 seconds.
The car, which was seized as evidence in a crime, is not likely to be disposed by sale or otherwise.
The Dubai Police has also seized other high-end cars including Porsche, Range Rovers, Mercedes, and Nissan GTR, in addition to two dusty motorbikes worth AED 100,000 each and a rare edition of Suzuki Hayabusa, reported Emarat Al Youm.
