Dubai: Pakistani actor and singer Mohsin Abbas Haider has been accused by his wife, Fatema Sohail, of domestic violence and cheating in a social media post on July 20.
Fatema shared a long post on Facebook alleging that Haider physically abused her, while she was pregnant, after confronting her about cheating.
Along with the post, Fatema attached images of her bruised face and a police report she claimed that she had filed.
The post started with, "I am Fatema. Wife of Mohsin Abbas Haider and here is my story. On November 26 2018, I caught my husband cheating. When I confronted him, instead of being embarrassed he started beating me. I was pregnant at that time."

She also commented on why she hasn't left Mohsin, who hadn't attended the delivery of their child, "Societal pressure or my own confidence. I do not know what but I decided to make my marriage work for my own child.”
According to an English daily in Pakistan - The News International - the actor has announced that he will soon respond to allegations in a press conference with evidence.
