A Saudi businesswoman has been granted a divorce from her husband, popular Egyptian actor Hussain Fahmi.
An Egyptian family court ruled in favour of Rana Algosaibi who waived off all her financial rights and refused all attempts of conciliation and insisted on getting a divorce.
She filed a lawsuit demanding a divorce, accusing her husband of “maltreating her and harming her psychologically which affected her health”.
The actor kicked her out of their house last March (2016) and denied her financial support as she comes from a wealthy Saudi family, the court heard.
