SHOWJUMPING – Bahrain's Sultan Al Rumaihi of the Interior Ministry Showjumping Team secured first place in his juniors’ competition at the Al Shaqab League, held in Doha, Qatar.
The event featured 271 riders from 22 countries battling it out in various categories, and it also acted as a qualifier for the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) Group Seven Final 2025.
Al Rumaihi triumphed in the junior champion 120cm CSIJ-B category. He was joined in the top three by silver-medalist Tamim bin Guan bin Hamad Al Thani and bronze medal winner Ibrahim Khaled Al Qawari.
On this occasion, Interior Ministry Showjumping Team supervisor Major-General Abdulaziz Mayouf Al Rumaihi expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for the unwavering support extended to Interior Ministry athletes.
He noted that this backing has significantly contributed to achieving outstanding results in both local and international sports tournaments.
He Al Rumaihi praised Public Security chief Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan for his continuous follow-up on all sporting activities involving ministry personnel.
