Twenty people were injured when a heavy metal scaffolding collapsed during a Tamer Hosney concert on Saturday in Baron Empain Palace, Egypt.
Five minutes before Hosney took the stage, the 300kg scaffolding holding the lights fell on the audience, resulting in many getting bruised and some left with broken bones.
As ambulances rushed to the scene, concertgoers gathered to lift the scaffolding and save the people trapped under it.
The concert was promptly called off, and security escorted the crowd out of the premises.
Hosney followed up on the injured concertgoers by visiting them in hospital.
