Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member, and Climate Envoy Adel Al-Jubeir headed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation participating in the funeral of Pope Francis in Vatican City.
During his participation, Minister Al-Jubeir conveyed the condolences and sympathy of the Kingdom’s leadership on the passing of Pope Francis to Cardinal Secretary of State and Prime Minister of the Vatican City State Pietro Parolin. He also expressed condolences to the College of Cardinals and the global Catholic community.
Attending the funeral was Saudi Ambassador to the Republic of Italy, Prince Faisal bin Sattam bin Abdulaziz.
