The government has been urged to introduce tougher consumer protection rules, with a legislator suggesting making the names of offenders public in a bid to reduce violations.
MP Dr Ali Al Nuaimi has submitted a proposal to amend Article 22 of Bahrain’s 2012 Consumer Protection Law .
