Bahrain got the equaliser through Ibrahim Al Khattal who found the back of the net towards the end of the first half.
Bahrain came back roaring in the second half and almost scored early on, but Mahdi Al Humaidan missed an opportunity because he slipped when the ball was less than one metre from Thai goalkeeper Kittipong Phuthawchueak.
Bahrain launched an all-out attacked as the game was approaching a draw and Isa managed to score the winner in additional time.
