Dubai: An Emirates flight from Trivandrum to Dubai has crash-landed in Dubai on Tuesday.
Flight EK521 crash-landed at Dubai airport at around 12.53 local time.
There were no reported casualties yet.
All passengers were evacuated safely and no injuries have been reported so far, said Dubai Media office.
The Emirates Airline confirmed the incident through a tweet.
Passengers in the airport took to Twitter to post photos of the plane - as smoke filled up the sky.
Huge colums of smoke were seen billowing as the plane was engulfed in flames.
Government-backed Emirates is the region's biggest carrier, and operates the world's largest airline fleet of the wide-body 777 long-haul aircraft.
Civil Defence firefighters reached at the airport immediately and are striving to control the fire.
Dubai International is the Middle East's busiest airport, and is the world's busiest air hub in terms of international passenger traffic.
About 300 people including crew members miraculously escaped with their lives this morning when their Emirates jet crash-landed at Dubai airport and exploded.
