Muscat: A national e-learning platform for health has been launched in Oman under the patronage of Health Minister and Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB) board of trustees chairman Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed al Sa’eedi.
Tebyan, which was launched by the OMSB will qualify and prepare medical personnel by supporting the continuation of their education in the medical field.
It will also aid the health sector in the education and development of using the latest in electronic technologies.
The platform aims to contribute to the process of remote medical education and training for resident doctors of the board and other medical groups working in the health sector through lectures and integrated training courses.
Doctors and health practitioners can access various educational resources and complete training activities and practical exercises in an interactive and interesting way through this platform and will be provided with an electronic certificate approved by the OMSB at the end of the training course.
