Manama: Al Ahlia Insurance Company has reported a net loss of BD622,699 for last year as against a profit of BD1,696,003 for the year 2014.
The company said in a statement that the loss is mainly attributable to an exceptional net investment book loss of BD1,219,915 due to an impairment loss of BD2,034,645 recognised last year for a few of its investment equities .
