Dubai: 34-year-old Shaikh Rashid Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum died of heart attack on Saturday.
Shaikh Rashid was the eldest son of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
According to news agency WAM, funeral prayers will be held at Zaabel Mosque tonight.
A three-day mourning period has been declared in Dubai.
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa sent a cable of condolences to the UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum over the sad demise of Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.
HRH Premier prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest the soul of the late Shaikh Rashid in eternal peace.
