ENDURANCE HORSERACING – BAHRAIN Royal Endurance Team rider Raed Mahmood secured fourth place yesterday in the 120km Fursan Cup 2025, organised by the Royal Commission for AlUla in Saudi Arabia in partnership with the Saudi Arabian Equestrian Federation.
The race, contested over four stages, saw fierce competition amongst 200 riders.
The team led the first two stages, with Mahmood in third.
Saudi Arabia’s Muhannad Al Salmi won the 120km race, while the UAE’s Abdullah Ali Al Amri and Saif Ahmed Al Mazrouei took second and third, respectively.
Bahrain’s Royal Endurance Team riders will next compete in the event’s 160km race today, with Salman Isa, Fahad Al Khatri, Mohammed Abdulsamad, Maayouf Al Rumaihi, and Abdullah Janahi representing the squad.
