His Majesty King Hamad yesterday expressed hope that Pope Francis’ legacy of promoting peace would continue through his successor.
The King described the Pope, who died aged 88 on Monday, as a dear friend of Bahrain when he received the credentials of 19 newly-appointed ambassadors during a formal ceremony held at Sakhir Palace .
