A Lebanese man was killed in a road rage incident in Faraiya, Lebanon, Saturday night.
20-year-old Khalil Jo Khalil was allegedly run over repeatedly by 25-year-old Jonathan Sham'oon following an altercation over right of way. Jonathan chased Khalil down to the hotel where his family was staying.
As Khalil arrived at the scene, Jonathan repeatedly ran him over with his vehicle. Khalil's sister witnessed the event and yelled, "Why did you do this?" in shock, only to be answered with "So he learns how to merge".
The incident sparked widespread outrage and condemnation. As calls to apprehend the suspect grew louder, many people resorted to blocking roads with burning tyres in hopes of catching the man.
Eventually, law enforcement managed to arrest the suspect and two others who were with him in the car at the time of the incident.
