Inadequate working and living conditions, limited access to essential services and a lack of awareness about their rights are amongst the main challenges faced by migrant workers in Bahrain, according to the kingdom’s oldest organisation dedicated to their welfare.In its latest newsletter, Migrant Voice: Empowering Community, the Migrant Workers Protection Society (MWPS) highlighted six cases of destitute migrant workers, whom the organisation was able to support through its outreach programmes during the last month .
