Indian actor Allu Arjun is setting the internet ablaze after the first teaser for his upcoming movie 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' just dropped. The teaser was released on the lead actor's birthday.
'Pushpa 2' is a sequel to the 2021 blockbuster 'Pushpa: The Rise'. The story follows the life of Pushpa Raj played by Arjun as he goes from a daily wage worker to one of the most notorious sandalwood smugglers in India. The movie is slated for a release in August this year.
Along with Arjun, the movie will also feature the return of Rashmika Mandana and Fahadh Faasil as the two other main characters.
The 2021 movie was a huge hit in India, grossing over $45 million (Rs360 crore) at the box office. The sequel is expected to be an even bigger hit, especially because according to rumours, the budget for the second part is more than $42 million (Rs350 crores).
