Sky Kings defeated Shaheen Group by five wickets in a thrilling T20 final to win the Khalid Bin Hamad Division B Cup 2024.
Shaheen posted 149/6 with Asif Mumtaz scoring 40. Sky Kings captain Asif Shabeer then blasted 61 off 20 balls, leading his team to chase the target in 18.3 overs, finishing at 150/5.
Despite a late collapse, Shabeer’s explosive knock earned him Player of the Match and secured Sky Kings’ title and their move to Division A for 2025.
Meanwhile, Awali Camels secured third place in the same competition after cruising past Sachi CC by 10 wickets.
Sachi were bowled out for 73, with Nauman taking four wickets for 10 runs. In reply, Yasir’s blistering 51 off 16 balls guided the Camels to victory in just five overs. Yasir was later named Player of the Match.
