Foreign Ministry Under-Secretary for Political Affairs Dr Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and United Nations Resident Co-ordinator in Bahrain Khaled El Mekwad co-chaired the meetings of the Co-ordination and Follow-up Committee and the Joint Steering Committee for Co-operation between the government of Bahrain and UN agencies.
Dr Shaikh Abdulla reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad, to strengthening co-operation and strategic partnership with the UN and its specialised agencies .
