TENNIS – The Bahraini Vamos team took first place in the Philippine Tennis Club Championship yesterday in the club’s series of mixed doubles tournaments, which the club organised from May 31 with the participation of more than 130 male and female players distributed among 10 teams of various nationalities.
The Bahraini Vamos defeated Philippine Hot Shot team 4-1 on the Bahrain Tennis Federation courts.
The Bahraini Vamos, led by captain Ahmed Al Aradi and captain Jameela
Al Nashaba, included Mahmoud Al Aradi, Abbas Al Aradi, Mohamad Mal Allah, Talal Al Khuzai, Sayed Ali Al Mishkab, Osama Taher, Jaafar Al Sharakhi, Abdul Jalil Abdullah, while the female players were: Nayla AlMeer, Lynn Barrios and Victoria Zuikova.
