IN Bethlehem, the place where Christians celebrate Jesus’ birth, located in the West Bank, celebrations take on a different tone this Christmas.
It is partly because the main road to Bethlehem has been closed by the Israeli government and additional check-points imposed, so numbers of pilgrims have been slashed and tourism decimated .
