Bahrain has bagged a boxing spot in this year’s Olympic Games after national team member Denis Latypov qualified from the 91kg section.
Latypov was ranked fifth in the Asia Oceania qualifiers held from March 3 to 11. The International Boxing Federation has approved the final list of qualified participants for the Olympics to be held in Tokyo from July 23 to August 8.
