The tournament is sponsored by BBK and is being held in cooperation with Western Union and organised by Filipino Club Tennis Group (FCTG).
BBK Isa Town Financial Mall’s Norman Abastillas and Norman Fronda defeated Khalid and Yousif 6-1, 6-3. Romy and Del beat Chris and Jenny 6-4, 6-4 and Noel and Mohammed got the better of Ashraf and Avneet 6-2, 6-2 to make it 3-0.
BBK Muharraq Financial Mall won two consolation matches when Fuad and Hisham defeated Saleem and Amith 6-4, 6-3 and Wesley and Riad beat Vic and Ely 6-3, 6-2.
In Division Two, BBK Manama Branch scored a 3-2 victory over Travel Secura.
Travel Secura’s Lito and Jose defeated Michelle and Ana 6-1, 6-2 and Viomel and Melvo won by default over Trevor and Christian.
BBK Manama’s Lydia and Eric beat Roy and Ian 6-4, 6-4 and Jocas and Dijhay rallied to down Jona and Cathy 4-6, 6-4, 10-6 to make it 2-2.
Roderick and Vineeth of BBK Manama Branch beat Madonna and Mary Ann 6-1, 6-4 to seal victory.
