With an aim to create jobs for its citizens Saudi Arabia has barred expatriates from dealing in mobile phones.
Labour Minister Mufrej Al Haqbani issued a statement restricting mobile phone trading and maintenance to Saudis.
Expatriates who are already in businesses related to mobile phones are given 6 months to conform to the new regulation.
Saudi Arabia has a population of around 30 million, which comprises nearly 10 million expatriates.
