Dubai: At least 2000 women participated in a competition organised by a dating company in Chengdu in China, to secure a match with wealthy bachelors in Dubai.
According to the event organiser Meimeng, 280 women have been short-listed to compete with each other for 12 tickets to Dubai to meet their Prince Charming.
The participants ranged in age from 19 to 48, and included primary school teachers, yoga coaches, postgraduate students and beauty pageant champions.
The aspirants underwent three rounds of rigorous testing that accessed their physical appearance, professional qualifications and past relationships.
The 12 winners will travel to Dubai in June this year and meet millionaire bachelors in the United Arab Emirates, reported online Shanghaiist.
