Papal thriller “Conclave” led nominations for the 2025 BAFTA Film Awards on Wednesday, securing 12 nods. Spanish-language musical crime and comedy movie “Emilia Perez” followed with 11 nominations for Britain’s top movie honours, which will be handed out on Feb. 16.
The movie, about scheming cardinals deciding who to elect as the next pope, was recognised in the best film, director, leading actor and supporting actress categories.
