Riyadh: A wild lioness devoured its Kuwaiti 'trainer' who was trying to tame the wild beast at a rest house in the Governorate of Hafr Al-Batin.
Alerted by his friend, the police intervened and took the man to the hospital where he died of his fatal injuries.
The ferocious animal broke the man’s neck, cut his arteries and devoured his thighs which caused his death.
A friend who was with him had then left to do some shopping from a cold store.
On returning, he made a last-ditch attempt to rescue the Kuwaiti and killed the lioness with a knife but that was not enough to save his friend's life, according to a report in Al-Riyadh.
