Schools situated near rivers will remain closed due to torrential rain which hit the United Arab Emirates, according to Al Bayan.
The Ministry of Education urged schools to be flexible and take the necessary measures to ensure students’ safety.
Public and private schools have designated hotlines and WhatsApp accounts to report delays and other emergencies resulting from unstable weather or fog.
