At 267.857 mph Buggati Veyron boasts to be the world’s fastest production car, but not for long! Veyron’s successor Bugatti Chiron is set to change everything, taking thrill and excitement of a supercar to a whole new level.
Named after the legendary race car driver Louis Chiron, the new beast of a car is expected to be faster…much faster than Veyron.
The projected top speed for Chiron is 288mph, which is 20mph quicker than the Veyron.
Veyron reaches 0-60 in 2.5 seconds, and the Chiron clocks 0-60 in just 2.3 seconds.
The Chiron will have be a quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 with torque output at around 1,106 lb-ft.
Bugatti sold 450 units of the exclusive model for around $1.5 million. The Chiron is expected to cost a whopping $2.5 million.
And the car maker claims to have bagged 100 orders already.
The Chiron will make its debut next year in March in the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
