The festival, Ultimate India, will be inaugurated by Indian Ambassador Alok Kumar Sinha at 7pm and feature cultural dances, a fashion show and a honouring ceremony for top achieving students from schools across Bahrain.
The hypermarket has organised a unique crafts section and has flown in six outstanding craftsmen from India to demonstrate and market their products, ranging from Rajasthani lac bangles to handmade leather footwear, tie-and-dye and the famed Ajrakh block printing on fabric and Sanjhi paper stencil work miniature painting.
Bazaar
The crafts bazaar runs until Tuesday. There will be a colourful cultural show with a fashion show by the Punjabi female members of the community.
Star achiever school students in the community will be honoured at the event.
In addition, LuLu Hypermarket will celebrate its rich product lines from India with exciting promotions.
There will be a food promotion by LuLu’s talented chefs too in the hot food section of all the hypermarket branches.
