A number of Omani Royal Navy vessels and the Chinese Navy Task Group 150 carried out Al Obour (Passage) exercise in the territorial waters of the Sea of Oman, according to ONA.
The joint naval exercise included a number of different training manoeuvres that was supported by helicopters of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) according to the plan for the exercise and to achieve the targeted training objectives.
The exercise was held within the framework of the annual training plans of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) and the exchange of experiences with the navies of friendly countries in order to maintain the readiness levels of RNO fleet and its sailors in various maritime specialties in line with the national tasks entrusted to it.
The Chinese Navy Task Group 150 later left the Sultanate after the completion of the exercise.
