CRICKET – THE Bahrain women’s cricket team is gearing up for an historic campaign as they compete in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup - Asia Qualifier, set to take place until May 21 in Bangkok, Thailand.
The tournament will feature eight other nations – Bhutan, Nepal, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Thailand – all vying for a coveted spot in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
Bahrain face Nepal for the first match to be played at Terdthai Cricket Ground (TCG) today at 5am, Bahrain time.
Bahrain fall under Group C with Nepal and Hong Kong being the other two teams in group. Each team play two games against each other in the group matches.
