HORSERACING – HIS Majesty King Hamad’s humanitarian work and youth affairs representative and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and SCYS first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman, and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa attended the Dubai World Cup 2025 in the UAE on Saturday night.
Shaikh Nasser congratulated UAE President Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on the success of the 29th edition of the mega horseracing event, held at Meydan Racecourse.
The race featured intense competition amongst top international jockeys and horses, embodying excellence in pursuit of the most prestigious title in the world of horseracing.
Shaikh Nasser commended the leadership of Sheikh Mohammed and his continued dedication to advancing the horseracing industry, which has established Dubai as a premier destination for championships and a meeting point for elite owners and riders, securing its place on the global racing map.
Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad described the 29th edition as outstanding in both organisation and competition, crediting the organising committee’s efforts for its success.
Shaikh Nasser congratulated the winners and noted that the event reinforced the UAE’s leading position in global horseracing.
