ENDURANCE HORSERACING – ISA Hameed Al Anezi won the 120-kilometre ride for private stables in the Shaikh Nasser Bin Hamad Endurance Championship.
The event was held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sport chairman, and Bahrain Royal Endurance Team captain Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
It was organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (Breef) at Bahrain International Endurance Village in Zallaq.
The private stables race featured strong participation from various stables and riders in the kingdom. It took place in the evening amidst a special Ramadan atmosphere.
Al Anezi, competing for Al Ajyal Stable, took the four-stage event ahead of runner-up Mohammed Abdulhameed Al Hashemi from Riffa Stable, while Ajyal teammate Hamad Ismail Al Balooshi clinched third place.
Breef secretary general Ghaleb Al Alawi and Breef assistant secretary general and Royal Stables and Royal Endurance Team general manager Dr Khaled Ahmed Hassan crowned the winners at the end of the ride.
