Isa Bin Salman Education Charitable Trust board of trustees chairman, Labour Fund (Tamkeen) chairman, and Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC) High Committee chairman Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa attended the Saudi Cup at the King Abdulaziz Racecourse in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Shaikh Isa affirmed that the advancements in Bahrain’s horseracing sector are a result of the support of His Majesty King Hamad and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who continue to enhance and develop the sport.
Shaikh Isa highlighted the distinguished participation of Bahraini stables in international and regional championships, which has led to significant sporting achievements, further strengthening Bahrain’s position on the international horseracing map.
Shaikh Isa noted that the advancements in Saudi Arabia’s horseracing sector are a result of the support of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Shaikh Isa highlighted the continued success of the Saudi Cup, recognising it as one of the world’s premier horseracing events that attracts top competitors from across the globe. He commended the participation of Bahraini stables in the prestigious race meeting, emphasising Bahrain’s commitment to competing in international and regional events, which plays a vital role in advancing the sport in Bahrain.
The Saudi Cup featured the participation of several Bahraini horses in three events, competing alongside a group of elite international contenders.
