The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), represented by its chairperson Ali Al Derazi, participated in a regional workshop in Casablanca to enhance legislative safeguards to combat and prevent torture and ill-treatment within detention centres and throughout Morocco.The workshop was held in collaboration with the Regional Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) for the Middle East and North Africa .
