The hit Netflix show Love is Blind Habibi has consistently stayed first on Bahrain's Netflix TV show rankings for weeks since its release and has now announced a highly anticipated reunion episode, bringing together all the couples from the show to see where they stand now.
Featuring 20 single men and women looking to find their life partners, the show achieved regional and international success, garnering viewers from the world over to watch the Arabic version of the dating show, including some celebrities like Kim Kardashian.
If you are yet to finish the show, do not read beyond this point.
The reunion is set to bring back all the couples, even the ones who never made it to the aisle. Here are all the couples that are set to feature in the reunion episode:
Safa and Mohammed, the only couple that actually got married at the end of the show after settling all their differences and having great chemistry throughout the show. The teaser trailer though seemingly showed them arguing with Safa saying "There's a fine line between jealousy and control".
Asma and Khatab, the couple that seemed the most stable throughout the show with a massive twist in the finale when Asma surprisingly rejected marrying him on the day of the wedding, citing pressure and her family not being there. Khatab did not take it badly though and talked to her afterwards and reconciled with hope for a future wedding.
Dounia and Chafic, the youngest couple on the show decided against marrying each other right before their wedding. Dounia and Chafic were on very rocky ground for most of the show's runtime after the reveal that Chafic and Noor knew each other prior to the show, the reunion episode showed a clip of Chafic saying "Dounia is so close to her mother and now I'm an additional layer".
Karma and Ammar, a couple who never even made it to a wedding as Karma decided to break up with him prior to that stage. Ammar and Karma never managed to settle their differences with Ammar's beliefs heavily clashing with Karma's as he could not tolerate that she's a passionate dancer. On the day of the breakup, Ammar did not take it well and called her reasons 'ridiculous' and said that she threw the relationship away because of her passion. Ammar and Karma are never seen interacting again beyond that point regardless of them making sporadic appearances.
Noor and Mido, a relationship that ended when Mido actually ran away from her after finding out that they have little in common. Mido during the show was heavily critical of Noor behind her back and eventually whenever he faced her later on. Mido mentioned on the show that he found himself a partner after breaking up with Noor.
And finally with perhaps the most surprising inclusion, Simo and Hajar. The most volatile relationship of them all, it also ended the earliest with Simo abandoning the show entirely after a fight he had with Chafic abandoning Hajar, citing that she did not stand up for him. Hajar and Simo could not see eye-to-eye on most things and kept arguing. Simo seemingly still antagonises Hajar as he can be seen spouting "I have no time for you" at Hajer and Nour telling him that he's rude.
The teaser trailer for the episode exclusively showed arguments between the cast members, making for what looks like a very interesting watching with many surprises to come. Who are you most looking forward to seeing? and Who do you think made it as a couple?
