More than 2,600 campsites have been registered at the Southern Governorate ahead of the new camping season with almost 10,000 people expected to apply before the end of the deadline next week.
This was confirmed by Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa during an inspection of the Service Centre in Sakhir yesterday .
