TWO Sudanese brothers have been indicted by the US Department of Justice (DOJ) for leading a cyber criminal group responsible for tens of thousands of attacks against critical infrastructure, corporate networks and government agencies in the US, Bahrain and other countries.
A federal grand jury indictment was recently unsealed by the US District Court for the Central District of California which revealed the charges against Ahmed Salah Yousif Omer, aged 22, and 27-year-old Alaa Salah Yusuuf Omer for operating and controlling Anonymous Sudan which conducted Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks and sold as a service to other criminals .
