The latest figures from Kuwait's Public Authority for Civil Information revealed that Kuwait's total population reached 4,918,570 by the end of June 2024. This represents an increase of 5,299 individuals as compared to the figures revealed in January 2024.
The new figure reveals that the number of Kuwaiti citizens has increased by 14,144, from 1545781 to 1559925.
The number of expatriates in the country has gone down by 8,845 individuals and now sits at 3.35 million. Of the expatriate population, 21 per cent are Indians, 13pc are Egyptians, 6pc are Bangladeshi, and 5pc are Filipino.
