The Bahrain Motor Federation (BMF) launched its annual summer camp activities at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir.
The first weekend of this year’s programme was held with the participation of a large group of young children.
They were treated to various activities related to motorsport, including learning about the roles of the BMF and BIC in global motor racing, marshalling, road rules, and many more.
Lectures were given by top officials, including Bahrain Olympic Academy director Dr Nabeel Taha, who spoke about teamwork and other topics.
BIC chief executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa and BMF general manager Abdulaziz Al Thawadi attended the opening weekend of the camp.
The programme continues until August 24, and it follows the great success of last year’s events.
The camp aims to educate Bahrain’s future generations about motorsport, with a special focus on safety on public roles and building a strong foundation for the industry to continue its rapid growth in the kingdom.
