TENNIS – REGISTRATION is now open for the women’s tennis training programme at the Bahrain Tennis Federation (BTF), the BTF announced yesterday.
BTF women’s committee head Jameela Al Nashaba said that the programme is part of the BTF’s efforts to attract more players in the kingdom to participate in women’s tennis activities and introduce the basics of the game.
Al Nashaba said that the programme, which is scheduled to begin on Sunday, is open to women of all ages and levels. She noted that training will be conducted by the federation’s coaches, under the supervision of Mahmoud Saeed, who has more than 25 years of experience in teaching tennis.
Sessions will be held twice a week, either Sunday and Tuesday or Monday and Wednesday, from 8pm to 9pm.
The cost to take part in the programme is BD25 per person, and it is open to both Bahrainis and expatriates.
Those interested in registering can fill in an electronic form available on the BTF’s Instagram account @btf_tennis. The deadline to register is Friday.
