Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reign yesterday night, on day 2 of WrestleMania XL to finally become the undisputed WWE Universal champion. Rhodes ended a historic 1,316-day run of Reigns holding the title.
The event was a star-studded affair with cameo appearances by Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, The Undertaker, and John Cena. The match was held under 'Bloodlines rules' a.k.a no disqualifications. So there were plenty of props and weapons used throughout the match.
Rhodes' win is being hailed as bringing in a new era at WWE.
